EORI Bulletin

25/08/2020

EOSI is away this week, but please see this important message. Additionally, if you know of new members of staff/ students who’re joining soon, this could be an excellent way for them to get acquainted with FAIR & Open Science!:

We’re Niamh and Laura, two PhD students based within the Psychiatry department in Kennedy Tower. We are keen to set up a ReproducibiliTea Open Science Journal Club at the UoE, in collaboration with Edinburgh Neuroscience and the Edinburgh Open Science Initiative. ReproducibiliTea is a world-wide network of open science journal clubs that discuss ideas about improving science reproducibility and the open science movement. We are looking for members from all career stages who are keen to embrace and learn more about open science. We are looking for people to join our working group and give us their input on what they’d would like to see in these journal clubs. The first working group meeting will be held on September 11th at 11am. For more information please email niamh.macsweeney@ed.ac.uk or l.klinkhamer@sms.ed.ac.uk. Also keep an eye out for our monthly sessions starting this semester!
